I wanna learn how to play guitar…..?

I wanna learn how to play guitar…..?

Ok, so I wanna learn how to play guitar. But I don't really have the time to take lessons or anything. HOW do u suggest I learn how to play? I mean should I use the internet, just get a couple guitar lesson books, or is it really just worth taking the lessons?

   i play the guitar. and my answer would be to at least take lessons so that you can learn the basics, and when you think your ready you can probably watch stuff with ppl playing music and try to teach your self. and if your not a fast learner than you should continue taking lessons, and believe me, it's totally worth it.

   If you really want to learn how to play an instrument you have to dedicate time to it…If you don't do that you won't learn anything and you'll loose your money, I have a friend that plays the guitar and he practices every single day at least 2 hours, so there has to be time for that….Good Luck!! =] ♥

   This is the site i've used personally. I would suggest that on top of looking at sites try to make friends with other guitarists so you stay on the right track and can ask questions if you have any. Plus, half the fun of music is being able to share it with others!

   Good luck, and remember no site will help if you don't practice practice pratice !

   Don't need to get a guitar teacher… I learned on my own and it was just fine.. you just need a really good guitar DVD or video course and book.

   You will learn better if you know your learning style. Find your learning style now, whether you are a visual learner, an auditory learner, or a kinesthetic learner. Or you are a learner with a combination of the three learning styles above. After you know your learning style, you can continue determining what approach you would use to learn the guitar. Basically there are two approaches of learning guitar, i.e. learning guitar with a teacher and learning guitar without a teacher. Now make a decision whether you want to learn guitar yourself or you need the presence of a teacher.
